Azerbaijan still biggest investor in Georgia
Azerbaijan remains the biggest investor of Georgia with the investment of $378.3 million during the nine months of 2017.
According to National Statistical Office of Georgia, Azerbaijan invested $154.1 million in Georgia in the third quarter of 2017. Azerbaijan’s share in total investments made in Georgia makes up 25.9%.

In the third quarter, foreign investments in Georgia amounted to $594.5 million, up 17.6% in comparison to a year earlier.

Totally, $1,346,500,000 was invested in Georgia in the three quarters of 2017. Azerbaijan is followed by Turkey ($259.2) and Great Britain ($175 million).
