The resolution was adopted by an overwhelming majority of votes (408 for and 132 against).
“Unfortunately, now Europe only understands the importance of such a position in regard to the growing separatist attempts against the territorial integrity of many countries,” she noted.
Muradova said such a position was expected against the backdrop of recent events.
“Europe tends to react only when it is faced with threat itself. However, I believe such documents are of great importance for the resolution of conflict and prevention of separatist efforts,” said Muradova, adding that there are problems in implementing the relevant decisions of international organizations on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
