Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan to involve private sector in trilateral cooperation, says Zarif

Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan to involve private sector in trilateral cooperation, says Zarif

Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan have decided to involve the private sector in trilateral economic cooperation, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said.

He made remarks at a press conference following the 5th trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Iran, Azerbaijan, and Turkey in Baku on Dec.20.

Zarif noted the trilateral format of cooperation is a useful method for cooperation in the region.

Saying that Iran Azerbaijan and Turkey enjoy a variety of spheres for cooperation, Zarif called for involving the private sector in cooperation in various fields of economy, energy, and transit.
