“Yet, the co-chairs have recently visited the region. They held meetings with the Azerbaijani President. EU and OSCE representatives also visited and held a meeting with the president. The process is underway. However, as always, the Armenian side strives to prevent and delay the negotiation process,” Mammadov said.
The president's assistant noted that the provision on the territorial integrity and sovereignty in the declaration which was adopted in November within the framework of the Eastern Partnership summit is of great importance.
“It is, in fact, a great victory of Azerbaijan in the process of conflict settlement. If European countries allowed double standards so far, this will not happen any more. This will also strengthen the attention of the Minsk Group co-chairs to the resolution of the issue,” he noted.
