President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev approved the laws on living minimum and need criterion for 2018, adopted by the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan.
The amount of the living minimum for 2018 was defined as AZN173 for the country overall, AZN183 for people with labour ability, AZN144 for pensioners and AZN154 for children.
The need criterion for 2018 is defined as AZN130.
Both laws come into effect since 1 January 2018.
