Russian officials congratulate Azerbaijani president on his birthday
Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin has congratulated President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on his birthday.
“Dear Mr. President, on behalf of the leadership of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service and on my own, I congratulate you on your birthday. I wish you effective activity in your highest state post, robust health and well-being,” Naryshkin said in his congratulatory message.

“On this occasion, I express my gratitude to you for your constant attention and support to the development of relations between the special services of our countries in ensuring the security of Russia and Azerbaijan, protecting national interests and preserving peace and stability in the CIS area,” said Naryshkin.

Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs of the Russian Federation Leonid Slutsky, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Ilyas Umakhanov, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC RussNeft Mikhail Gutseriev, Chairman of the Mir Interstate TV and Radio Company Radik Batyrshin and Rector of I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University Petr Glybochko also congratulated the Azerbaijani president.
