PACE spring session agenda announced
The human rights, international law, humanitarian consequences of the actions of the Islamic State terrorist organization, budget and priorities of the Council of Europe for the next two years and others issues will be discussed at the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), to be held in Strasbourg April 20-24, the EU official website said March 13.

Moreover, the issue of reconsidering the sanctions against the Russian delegation to PACE will be discussed on April 22.

During the meeting Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders will deliver a report of the CE Committee of Ministers as part of the Belgian presidency, while the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muižnieks will deliver an annual report on the activity in 2014.

PACE is an advisory body of the Council of Europe. The assembly holds four meetings a year and adopts resolutions and recommendations on the basis of reports prepared by MPs.
