In 2014, the largest investor in Georgia`s economy was the Azerbaijani company BP group, in second place - the Chinese concern "Hualing international special economic zone", on the third - the "Acharistskali" company.
According to preliminary data, the volume of investments in Georgia in 2014 amounted to $ 1 272 bn, which is 39% more than in 2013.
Holland ranks firs among investors - it accounts for 26%, by sector - transport and communications - 27% of the total investment.
The top five investors are as follows:
- BP-group, transport and communications, Azerbaijan
- Hualing international, construction, China
- Acharistskali, energy, Netherlands
- ADS Borjomi, processing industry, Netherlands
- Old City development, construction, Panama
