23 Armenian servicemen committed suicide in 2017
Armenia suffered 59 non-combat fatalities in 2017. Twenty-three servicemen committed suicide and reasons for others’ death were traffic accidents and murder cases.
Leader of Armenia’s Yerkir Tsirani” party, former deputy Zaruhi Postanjyan told the aforesaid, Defence.az reported.

“The main reasons for the increase of such cases is the disorder observed in the military field in the country. The current political system leads the country to decline. Citizens should protest against the government. Otherwise, the situation in Armenia will not be solved. On the contrary, it will end up with state debts against the backdrop of empty budget, as well as a social-economic burst,” stressed Postanjyan.
