The new structure of the Presidential Administration approved on 31 May 2017 includes the Position of Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan for Interethnic Relations, Multiculturalism and Religious Issues – head of department, to which there has not been an appointment yet.
This position has today been abolished and replaced with the Position of Head of the Department of Interethnic Relations, Multiculturalism and Religious Issues. Etibar Najafov has been appointed as head of the department.
