Ilham Aliyev meets European Commission VP Sefcovic in Davos

Ilham Aliyev meets European Commission VP Sefcovic in Davos

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan European Commission Vice-President for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic in Davos on Jan. 24.

The sides exchanged views on implementation of the "Southern Gas Corridor" project. Next meeting of the ministers within the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council is expected to be held on February in Baku.

AzVision.az reports that, during the meeting, Azerbaijani President and Maros Sefcovic discussed financing of TANAP and TAP pipelines, commissioning of TANAP gas pipeline within the year and extracting the first gas from the Shah Deniz-2 field.
