“However, after the campaign regarding the massacre as well as the promo posters on the Khojaly genocide in the buses in Milan, I used to be chased obviously,” he noted.
Isayev said that he met those three men on the day of performance. “I could not understand the reason for their chase. Interestingly, upon the performance, Armenians distributed leaflets against Azerbaijan outside the theatre. And these three men guided them", he said.
According to the director, on Friday evening, the three men called him to have a talk waiting outside his house.
“During the talk, one of them (who introduced himself as Mika) told me – you are a young gay, don’t poke your note into everything and put yourself into trouble by organizing performances on Karabakh. I told them that I am engaged in art and I will do my job further. Finally, the Armenian named Mika said that if I organize such events, I will get into trouble,” Isayev added.
The director said that he has already reported the incident to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Italy and appealed to Lodi Police Department in Porta Romana district, Milan.
