He said that the new draft law determines the status of the Chamber of Accounts, which wasn’t considered in the previous version of the law.
“In addition, the new version of the law allows the Chamber of Accounts to expand the coverage of financial and budgetary supervision, facilitates access to information necessary for oversight activities,” Sadigov said. “New methods for conducting audit oversight are also outlined in the draft law.”
