Mr. Hasanov held a meeting with Du Qinglin, a member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC Central Committee), Deputy Chairman of the Chinese People`s Political Consultative Conference. The sides exchanged views on the current state of relations between the two countries and the prospects of development.
During the meeting with Vice-Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee Zhou Li, the sides underlined the importance of conducting political consultations and dialogues between various authorities of the two countries in the complicated international situation. Mr. Zhou Li expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support in the issues of China`s fundamental interests.
Ali Hasanov invited China`s leading companies to take an active part in the projects implemented in Azerbaijan and said that all the condition would be created for them in this direction. Zhou Li said that the Chinese side is ready to share its economic potential with Azerbaijan and Chinese investors are ready increase investment in Azerbaijan.
Hasanov also visited Tianjin, a city of nearly 15 million people and met with Secretary of the city of Tianjin on Ideological issues, Head of the department of agitation Van Xensen. Hasanov familiarized himself with the free trade zone of Tianjin, "Airbus" aircraft plant, foreign trade port and other facilities.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to China Latif Gandilov also attended the meetings.
