“New legal agreement should be reached for cooperation with Azerbaijan”, said Latvian Foreign Minister, EU Chairman-in-Office Edgars Rinkēvičs at the meeting with Norway`s Foreign Minister Børge Brende while speaking about the prospects within the framework of Eastern Partnership and prior to the Riga Summit.

He said that a similar agreement with Armenia is planned as well. “The Eastern Partnership should be developed in a single platform and individual approach should be demonstrated towards the partner countries.

The bilateral relations should be strengthened and the associative agreements with Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine should be implemented. The relations with Belarus should be reinforced and simplification of visa regime with all partner countries should be provided”, he said.
