Panahov noted that the nomination of 12 candidates has been approved by the CEC and that of the remaining one candidate will be considered at the next CEC meeting.

"The nomination of presidential candidates in Azerbaijan continues,” Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), said at today's meeting.
The CEC chairman said that 13 candidates have been nominated so far and 7 of them have been nominated by political parties, one by the initiative group, and four are self-nominated.
