OSCE, ODIHR interest in presidential elections in Azerbaijan
On February 22, Ali Ahmadov, Azerbaijan’s deputy prime minister and deputy chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party met with a delegation of the need assessment mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).

Ahmadov spoke about the work on holding a free, fair and transparent election, as well as the planned large-scale projects.

Alexander Shlyk, the head of the delegation and the Acting Head of the Election Department of the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) stated the institution’s interest in the upcoming presidential election in Azerbaijan.
