Tashkent hosts first Uzbek-Azerbaijani business forum
Tashkent has hosted the first Uzbek-Azerbaijani business forum at the initiative of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers') Organisations of Azerbaijan Republic (ASK), Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan's embassy in Uzbekistan.  

Azerbaijani ambassador Huseyn Guliyev, as well as representatives of more than 20 companies of the country headed by ASK President Mammad Musayev and Uzbek business circles attended the event.

Addressing the forum, Adham Ikramov, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, expressed his hope that the event will contribute to developing the bilateral business relations.

ASK President Mammad Musayev said that Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations are developing steadily. He hailed the work of the intergovernmental commission.

Ambassador Huseyn Guliyev praised the bilateral ties in political, economic and cultural areas.

“The friendly relations between presidents Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev have played a crucial role in developing our cooperation,” Guliyev added.

Then the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers') Organisations of Azerbaijan Republic and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
