150 fire-fighters and 35 fire-fighters have been mobilised in front of In City’s Heart shopping mall to extinguish the fire that had spread over some 3,000 sq.m.
"Fire has been practically localised. Great thanks to the fire-fighters," Agenda.ge cited Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze as saying.
According to preliminary information, the fire had spread on one of the floors of the shopping mall.
Head of the Emergency Management Service Giorgi Mgebrishvili said investigation is currently underway to find out what has caused the fire.
