He noted that negotiations are being conducted for this purpose both with Turkish and Azerbaijani travel companies.
Currently, the issue of expanding the geography of flights is also on the agenda.
“We forecast the growth of passenger traffic not only from Azerbaijan to Turkey, but also in the opposite direction, by 20 percent in 2018 as compared to the previous year. Today, Turkish Airlines, along with Baku, carries out flights to Ganja and Nakhchivan. We intend to develop the potential in this direction. Meanwhile, everything depends on the available demand in this issue,” added Ilyas.
