The head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Alexander Novak, and the vice-president of the European Commission for Energy Union, Maros Shefovic, held a telephone conversation during which the EC representative conveyed the concerns of Ukraine following the results of the Stockholm arbitration, the Ministry of Energy reports.
"Minister Novak assured that the gas transit from Russia to Europe is not under threat, the transit remains as reliable as it was in the past," the agency said, noting that Novak and Shefovich confirmed their readiness to maintain close contact, RIA Novosti reports.
