Romania’s Deputy PM Ana Birchall expressed her and Romanian president’s condolences to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in connection with a fire in Baku’s Drug Abuse Treatment Center, which led to human casualties.
Ana Birchall expressed her satisfaction regarding her participation at the sixth Global Baku Forum organized by Nizami Ganjavi International Center. She also stressed the significance of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Romania in 2017.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev touched on the announcement of 2018 as the year of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

She said her country is committed to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres and expressed confidence that the intergovernmental commission would play an important role in this regard.
