The agreement was reached during the last visit of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to the region, Mammadyarov noted.
“At the last meeting of the presidents and foreign ministers, the co-chairs put forward creative ideas for moving the issue from a dead end. After the formation of new governments in both countries, we will intensify the negotiation process,” he added.
Mammadyarov also referred to a possible meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers after the elections.
“There was an opinion on holding a ministerial meeting after the elections. I hope that the meeting will take place, but when, it is too early to say,” Azerbaijan’s top diplomat noted.
