On the way to final, Azerbaijani wrestler Mahammadhaji Khatiyev (86kg) beat his Turkish, Hungarian, Greek and Russian rivals. In the final round he faced Belarusian athlete and satisfied with silver.
Another Azerbaijani wrestler Ali Magomedabirov (125kg) has won bronze medal after beating Ukrainian rival.
The 3rd day of the championship will see competition of women wrestlers in the 48, 55, 60 and 69 kg weight categories. Azerbaijani women wrestlers will compete at the 3 weight categories.
