The expert said that during the 1918 genocide, Armenians killed their Azerbaijani neighbors overnight without age discrimination.
"The impunity of the perpetrators of the genocide led to the massacres in Khojaly and Abkhazia. The truth about this genocide must be revealed. The historians of Azerbaijan and Georgia and all members of society should take an active in this direction,” he said.
Markhulia said that in the event of war against Georgia, Armenians will not side with the government.
"Armenians are ready to betray Georgia at any time. They now claim that the Georgian Church in the center of Tbilisi belongs to Armenians. This church has nothing to do with Armenians," the professor said.
The political scientist said Azerbaijan and Georgia should put up a joint fight against Armenian threats.
"Power lies in unity. Azerbaijan and Georgia can join forces by creating a federal union and can strive for the historical truths to emerge," he added.
