Azerbaijani grandmaster makes successful start to Dubai Open Chess Tournament 2018

Azerbaijani grandmaster makes successful start to Dubai Open Chess Tournament 2018

Azerbaijani grandmaster Eltaj Safarli has defeated Serbian Mila Zarkovic in his opening game of the 20th Dubai Open Chess Tournament 2018.

The Azerbaijani GM will next face Iranian Arash Tahbazi.

The tournament brings together 166 chess players, including 48 grandmasters from 33 countries.
