The head of state noted that Azerbaijan had achieved these achievements on its own.
Azerbaijan plays an important role in regional cooperation, stressed President Aliyev.
“Azerbaijan is implementing projects to strengthen intercontinental cooperation. We are realizing these projects jointly with neighboring countries as we have established good relations with them,” he said.
The president went on to say that Azerbaijan organizes many international events.
“Especially I want to mention the Intercultural Dialogue Forum. Azerbaijan hosted the first European Games and the fourth Islamic Solidarity Games, which promote dialogue and cooperation between cultures, religions and peoples. We are able to organize such global events,” he said.
The head of state expressed confidence that the member states will support Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement. “We are stronger together,” President Aliyev added.
