Turkey to extend state of emergency

Turkey to extend state of emergency

Turkey's government will extend state of emergency in the country, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag said.

The minister added that this is necessary, because the fight against the terrorist movement of Fethullah Gulen isn’t over yet, Turkish media reported.

The state of emergency was introduced in Turkey after the military coup attempt in 2016.
