Fire at hospital in Istanbul taken under control, no casualties reported

A fire that erupted at a hospital in Istanbul’s Gaziosmanpasa district on the afternoon of April 5 was taken under control and there were no casualties in the incident, Azvision.az reports citing Hurriyet Daily News. 

Some 35 to 40 fire vehicles and ambulances have been dispatched to the scene to tackle the blaze as the patients are being discharged.

There are no wounded or killed persons in the fire, the broadcaster reported, citing the local fire authority.

The fire has been taken under control and there are no casualties, the fire authority was quoted as saying.

The hospital has been in service since 2013.
