Tourist flow to Azerbaijan increased by 12.6 % in first three months of 2018

Tourist flow to Azerbaijan increased by 12.6 % in first three months of 2018

Almost 627,835 tourists who visited Azerbaijan in first three months of 2018 increased by 12.6 % against the same period in 2017 - up to 70,207 people, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Azerbaijan was visited by 181,913 tourists in January, 166,161 in February and 275, 761 in March.

The reporting period most of all Azerbaijan was visited by tourists from Russia (171, 814), Georgia(138, 909 ), Iran (99, 158 ) and Turkey (72,733). Besides, tourist flow from the UAE amounted 29,317, Ukraine -11,847 and Iraq -11,112.
