Turkish Airlines plane interrupts flight due to suspicion of bomb on board
A plane of the Turkish Airlines flying from Istanbul to Tokyo had to urgently interrupt its flight Mar. 29 due to the likelihood of presence of a bomb in its cargo hold.
Turkish news agency Haber3 reported that the Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300 with 321 passengers on board took off from Istanbul in the direction of Tokyo.

During the flight over the Black Sea, one of the flight attendants noticed the sign “C4 Kargo” written on a toilet door, which could theoretically indicate the presence of a plastic explosive in the cargo hold of the aircraft.

The plane’s captain requested permission to return to the airport for the security service to carry out the necessary procedures.

The experts checked the luggage of all the passengers and the cargo in the plane, but found no evidence of a bomb.

The plane will take off again for Tokyo later evening.
