Russia's President-elect Vladimir Putin is to swear in as the new head of state on 7 May, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said as he presented a government performance report to the State Duma on 11 April, AzVision.az reports citing foreign media.
According to the prime minister, this is the last report of the current government because it has to resign after the inauguration to make way for a new cabinet.
The presidential election in Russia took place on 18 March. Vladimir Putinsecured a landslide victory taking 76.69% of the votes.
