Author of bill criminalizing denial of so-called "Armenian Genocide" in France accused of plagiarism
French MP Valeri Boyer, claiming on genocide of Assyrians in the Ottoman Empire, is accused of plagiarism.

Local Mass Media alleged that entire paragraphs of a bill on “recognition of genocide against Assyrians in 1915”, put forward to the National Assembly in Paris on March 11, were copied and pasted directly from the internet encyclopedia “Wikipedia” by Valeri Boyer.

Leading French media organizations have proved their allegations with distinct photos and links.

On March 11, Valeri Boyer, author of a law considering to punish any person denying so-called “Armenian Genocide”, submitted a bill to the National Assembly of France on the “recognition of genocide against Assyrians in 1915” The bill also includes issues like “Pontic Greek Genocide”, the “Sykes–Picot Agreement” in 1916, “Massacres of Diyarbakır” and “Treaty of Lausanne” in 1923.
