Representative of the Turkish Air Forces, Lieutenant-Colonel Hasan Saffet Celikel told journalists that serious tests and mutual exchange of experience were conducted for the development of flying abilities.
“This beneficial cooperation will continue at a high level in the future. This practice is of great importance for us. Three pieces of F-16, three F-4E 2020, two AS-532, two UN-1H helicopters and airborne early warning and control system of the Turkish Air Forces and three pieces of MIG-29, three SU-25 aircrafts and four Mi-17 helicopters of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were involved in the exercises,” he said.
Then, the journalists toured helicopter hangars and took photos.
Firing and rescue exercises were carried out in the second phase of the exercises.
The exercises that started on March 2 will continue on April 2.
