Ganja, Lankaran and Gabala airports to shift to ASAN visa system

“Over the next month Ganja, Lankaran, Gabala and other airports will shift to ASAN visa system," chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASAN Service) Ulvi Mehdiyev has told journalists.

He noted that currently 14 terminals of ASAN visa have been installed at Heydar Aliyev international airport, the bank window and other auxiliary windows operate at the airport. “The foreigners can either pay online or through a bank cash desk. The cost for visas currently offered by ASAN Visa at airports is $20, while visa is free for Japanese and $10 for Turkish citizens,” Mehdiyev said.

Currently e-visas are provided to 95 countries through ASAN visa. The system is fully automatic and with the electronic visa system, e-visas are granted within 3 days (standard) or 3 hours (emergency) before coming to the country through the website www.eviza.gov.az.
