The statement came from the Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Raphael Harpaz, answering to the question on so-called “parliamentary elections” in Nagorno Karabakh.
He noted that Israel supports peaceful solution to the conflict: “We are grounded on our experience in the Middle East. We want and hope for peaceful solution to this conflict. We see it as the best solution option. We support the OSCE Minsk Group’s efforts on achieving the peace. Israel supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman has also confirmed it, when he was here.”
