President Ilham Aliyev receives U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Energy Resources Sandra Oudkirk.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev thanked to Sandra Oudkirk, the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Energy Resources for her participation at the commissioning ceremony of the first stage of the Southern Gas Corridor project and the opening ceremony of the 25th Centenary Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference, AzVision.az reports.

President Aliyev highly appreciated the US support for the implementation of global energy projects saying that the partnership relations between the countries have been very successful.

Head of the state evaluated opening ceremony of opening of Southern Gas Corridor’s first phase as the main indicator of successful cooperation between countries. President Ilham Aliyev also thanked US President Donald Trump for his congratulations on occasion of 100th anniversary of ADR

Expressing her gratitude for the invitation to attend the commissioning ceremony of the first stage of the Southern Gas Corridor project, Sandra Oudkirk said that there are strong relationships between the countries in field of energy and these relations highly contribute to the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
