Candidacy of Akif Alizade has been nominated for the post of president of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), AzVision.az reports.
It was decided to include the name of the academy’s current president Akif Alizade in a secret ballot at the annual general meeting of ANAS on June 8.
Alizade has been a president of ANAS since 2013.
