There are no Azerbaijani nationals among those who died and were injured in a strong earthquake in western Japan, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Hikmat Hajiyev told on Monday.
Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Japan is closely following this issue, Hajiyev noted.
At least 3 people died and over 50 were injured after a 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck western Japanese city of Osaka on Monday morning. No tsunami warning issued after the earthquake.
