OSCE’s role still needed in conflict resolution: Russian diplomat

The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are trying to help resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Alexander Grushko said at the OSCE Annual Security Review Conference in Vienna on Wednesday.

Grushko noted that the time has come for a comprehensive review of the content of OSCE mechanisms.

“There is still a need for OSCE’s role in conflict resolution,” the Russian diplomat stressed.

Speaking at the conference, Toivo Klaar, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia spoke on the existing difficulties and opportunities of the talks on Nagorno-Karabakh and Georgian conflicts.
