He said that today's meeting will focus on a number of issues, including the next round of "Taliban" and Afghan peace talks.
"At the same time, the elections in Afghanistan and military operations will also be discussed. At the last session, I will address the next steps in the peace process with "Taliban"", he added.
Zaeef underlined his visit to Baku as his first and said he believes Afghanistan's future will be bright.
Zaeef was the Afghan ambassador to Pakistan during the "Taliban" rule in Afghanistan.
