The parties outlined during the meeting the importance of developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union in all directions, including economic, energy, cultural, tourism and other spheres, and exchanged ideas on issues of human rights.
The sides also remarked that Azerbaijan has been doing much work in this area, adding that freedoms of peaceful gathering, media, expression, internet, etc. are fully insured in the country and stressing that there are also good conditions to expand cooperation in this area.
