According to her, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan have sufficient opportunities for cooperation with EU: “Presently, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and the
European Commission are conducting trilateral negotiations. We are determining benefits of the Southern Gas Corridor and Trans-Caspian Gas Pipeline for us. This is important for region, including not only Azerbaijan but also Turkmenistan”.
The diplomat noted that there are potential for tourism, medium and small business between Azerbaijan and EU: “We hope that we’ll closely cooperate with partners like Azerbaijan to be sure of profiting by energy efficiency. Moreover, we are discussing concrete projects in energy efficiency”, M. Mard added.
