The 5th Korea-Central Asia international workshop has today started in Baku.
The workshop is co-organized by the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Azerbaijan (SAM) and Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP).
Entitled "Economic reforms in Central Asia and Azerbaijan, and open economic policy: measures to strengthen Republic of Korea -Central Asia-Azerbaijan economic cooperation", the workshop brings together Azerbaijani and Korean scientists as well as representatives from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The opening ceremony of the event featured reports by SAM director Farhad Mammadov, member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Hwang Jin Ha, Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Choi Suk-inn and KIEP representative Jeong Yeo Cheo.
