State Oil Company of Azerbaijan has clarified the reports that SOCAR
Head of SOCAR press service Nizameddin Guliyev said: “The matter is not about SOCAR Energy Turkey. SOCAR has two independent bodies in Turkey. One of them is SOCAR Energy Turkey that engages in all production issues and projects there. The other one is SOCAR’s Turkey-based office. The last one consists of 2-3 persons and operates on protocol issues. The body which moved to Ankara is SOCAR’s turkey-based office, but not SOCAR Energy Turkey. These issues bear no relation to SOCAR Energy Turkey. They operate in Istanbul as previous”.
