"Relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan reached the level of strategic partnership"

“Relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan has reached the level of strategic partnership,” said newly appointed chairman of the government of Adjara Autonomous Republic Tornike Rizhvadze as he met with Azerbaijan`s consul general in Batumi Parviz Ismayilzade.

The Azerbaijani consul congratulated Rishvadze on his appointment. He hailed hospitality of Batumi residents. Ismayilzade noted that the Azerbaijani city of Nakhchivan and Georgia`s Batumi develop relations in the fields of politics, economy and tourism. The consul general underlined that free treatment was organized for children suffering from bronchial asthma in Nakhchivan Duzdag Physiotherapy Center.

Rizhvadze stressed the close cooperation with Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and revealed plans to open direct flights to the city of Nakhchivan.
