“We have very good contact with Azerbaijan’s leadership,” said Rogozin. “Currently, the Azerbaijani producers are actively helping Russia with the fruits and vegetables supplies, in a time when a sanction regime against our country has started.”
At the same time, Rogozin said that the contacts in the industry sphere work very well.
Rogozin said that currently the creation of a service center in Azerbaijan for the Russian-made helicopters is being considered.
“There are ideas of cooperation in shipbuilding for the development of the Caspian region. I can, in general, say there are trust, mutual understanding, and coincidence of positions on many issues of international politics,” he said.
He also stressed that Azerbaijan has shown itself as a reliable and serious ally.
“Therefore, I keep in contact with Azerbaijan with pleasure,” said Rogozin, recalling that he is the co-chairman of the Russian part of the Russia-Azerbaijan commission for the socio-economic and scientific-technical cooperation.
