President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing the inauguration of the highway.
It was noted that under President Ilham Aliyev`s order signed in 2013, 2 million manats were initially allocated from the President`s Contingency Fund for the construction of the road. Last year the head of state signed an order allocating 4, 7 million manats from the state budget for the construction.
Construction work on the highway started in 2013. The 21 kilometer long road links 21 residential areas with the total population of 12,000 people.
