“Information revolution had a strong influence on our lives, work and economy in recent years,” U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta said at the event on cyber security in Baku.
He said that millions of cyber-attacks are launched every day against his country: “The U.S. is not the only country facing it. The cooperation in this field is very important. Azerbaijan is contributing to a secure future, trying to become a leading country on communication strategy in the region. The U.S. supports these initiatives. The security issue will be increasingly important in interstate relations.”
