Armenian National Security officer calls Pashinyan "spy" - Document

What connects Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan who is "fighting" against corruption in Armenia with Armenia's national security service? ...

"Pashinyan arouse NSS officials' interest in the late 1990s, when he was working as a head of scandalous "Orakir" newspaper", Armenian former National Security Service (NSS) officer says while sharing his memories, Ordu.az reports citing Armenian mass media.

Pashinyan had purposedly published the criticial articles about some government officials and he presented himself as a LGBT supporter. In fact, he was coward and dishonest man. When the NSS officals detained him, without any pressure he disclosed the names of clients and the amount of money he earned. At that time, fellow editor expressed his readiness to fight against those people and co-operate with NSS officials. Pashinian was released after prophylactic conversations and written promises.

In March 2008, Pashinyan forgot about his promises and joined the mass protests, so he was wanted by the police. Fearing of the consequences of what happened, he voluntarily surrendered. After staying in the prison for a week, he asked for a meeting to give an explanation and said he was ready to perform all the tasks.

Later, Pashinyan begged for forgiveness and for reducing the detention period. He told the names of all his colleagues, their addresses.

“People like Vazhgen, Ashot had suffered from Pashinyan’s false accusations. Pashinyan thinks that recordings of those accusations have been lost out, but they are not.  Some of them may be striking power for Pashinyan. They will be broadcasted at a most unfortunate tine for him and the Armenian people will see how dishonest and treacherous person he is”.

One year after giving consent to work with Armenian National Security Service Pashinyan was released. Now, Pashinyan is well-prepared spy. He started to inform regularly the Presidential Administration and gave report to them.

"So what happens today? Unexpectedly Pashinyan became prime minister being part of the political games. Imposing his authority, he began to avenge his previous leaders. He dismisses and arrests those who have co-operated with him. Besides, he also punished police officers who know his past. Pashinyan commanded the new chiefs of investigation to examine Armenian businessmen's and political figures' bank accounts and forcibly transfer that money to state treasury. Those banks presented all requested information about depositors violating the confidentiality. Indeed Pashinyan wants to use that money for pre-election propaganda. By this way Pashinyan gained personal income. His friends living in US opened offshore accounts in Cyprus and Maldives with his wife, Anna Hakobyan's name. However, the most unknown part is negotiations with US on devolution of Karabakh. Regarding this matter, he will answer in front of the Armenian people.

Let's see what Pashinyan's adherents will tell about those issues. You need to understand that it is only the beginning. Seeing all your actions and misuse, people will overthrow you as nations' choice", Armenian National Security officer underlined.
